WE DIDN’T START IN A BOARDROOM.

Spray Studio started with a problem. When I moved to Atlanta, spray tanning was still relatively new—and everywhere I went, the experience just wasn’t good enough. I had been spray tanned back home, knew what a great tan could look like, and figured there had to be a better way.

So I bought some equipment, put it in my townhome, taught myself the craft, and started tanning myself and my friends. People loved the results. One thing led to another, I found a tiny studio, and Spray Studio was born.

BUILT FROM REAL CLIENTS. NOT JUST FORMULAS.

About a year after opening Spray Studio, products entered the picture. I quickly realized that so much of the skincare available to my clients simply wasn’t designed with sunless tanning in mind. I retailed products from other brands for a while, but nothing ever felt quite right.

So I went to a lab. Then I went to another. And another...until I found the first FIT.

We started with body wash, body oil and scrub. Then came self-tanners, gradual tanners, body butter and eventually an entire collection of sunless-safe products.

Over the years, I’ve worked with multiple labs, tested countless samples (I mean that...it has been hundreds and hundreds) and invested well into multiple six figures in product development and formulation. Some products made the cut. Plenty didn’t.

What exists today is the result of years of refining what actually works. And its growing every day...every year.

THEN PRIVATE LABEL FOUND US.

Around 2020, some of our strongest wholesale accounts started asking—repeatedly—to put their own names on our products.

Eventually, I said yes.

They built the products into their own brands and absolutely ran with them.

Private label grew organically from there, mostly through word of mouth. Businesses wanted access to proven products without having to build an entire manufacturing operation themselves.

That eventually became Spray Studio Supply.

Developing one product is one thing. Building an entire product line is another business entirely.

There’s formulation, testing, labs, ingredients, bottles, caps, pumps, fragrance, inventory, filling, production schedules, supply-chain issues and a constant stream of details that someone has to manage.

We already do that.

Our partners get professionally developed, real-world-tested products ready to become part of their brand—so they can spend more time building their business, serving their clients, marketing and selling.

Because time is money. And your time is probably better spent growing your company than chasing down bottle caps.
